He grew up with wealth but He never knew his parents. When bakugan came back to earth he turned his mansion into a school building run by him and his bakugan. Lord Naga came to him and offered what Shadow wanted. Shadow accepted and with help from supporters all around the world Naga was released from Vestroya and went to Shadow. He is headstrong and powerful. He can be aggressive when he has to be but otherwise chooses to remain somewhat kind.
As time went on he became friends with those who joined the school, even those un-loyal to Lord Naga. He favers Darkus bakugan and would trust his life to them if it came down to it.
